Garden Townhouse
A delicate balance of elegance and comfort shines through in this Upper East Side townhouse gut renovation. Spaces were connected visually using wood, stone and plaster, while large pocket doors allow for these same rooms to be closed off as needed. Steel casement window walls on each floor look out over a series of stepped terraces, flowing down to the lush main level open garden.

“One space hints at an English manor, another a French country kitchen, and there’s a Zen garden out back. Likewise, spaces designed for privacy or contemplative work sit alongside rooms made to welcome family and friends.”
